We are in search of an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Developer, skilled in multiple BI tools, concepts, and processes to manage the life cycle of our analytics dashboards and standard reporting, including business requirement gathering, functional specification write-ups, prototyping, development, quality testing, user acceptance testing, roll-out and post-launch enhancements implementation. In this role, you will design, develop and implement BI solutions using Snowflake as the data warehouse platform and be able to create engaging and interactive business insights dashboards in Tableau, using best practices related to data visualization techniques, focusing on enhancing the user experience for your stakeholders. You will be expected to seamlessly communicate with multiple stakeholders to produce and maintain comprehensive and scalable datasets, processes, and documentation, as well as mentor junior teammates.
SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
Architect and implement data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data into Snowflake.
Optimize data structures, storage, and query performance in Snowflake to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
Write and maintain SQL queries in Snowflake
Develop and maintain data governance standards, including data security, data quality, and data lineage to ensure the integrity and reliability of BI solutions.
Design, build, and publish interactive dashboards and visualizations using data visualization tools as well as standardized reporting for internal and external stakeholders, troubleshooting and problem solving where needed.
Collaborate closely with the platforms and data teams to ensure data sources are accurate, available, and analyzable.
Work closely with developers and business analysts to test, clean, and standardize data to meet business requirements.
Work cross-functionally with various stakeholders and teams to exchange ideas, solve problems, and develop innovative solutions to promote data-driven decisions across the organization.
Provide written documentation to maintain and present workflows and data flows, develop functional and technical designs, and document dashboard functionality.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
10+ years of experience designing and developing business intelligence dashboards using BI tools
Experience in using Snowflake and Tableau (Certifications are nice to have, but not required)
Experience working with large and complex data sets, able to write queries and calculations, building robust data pipelines and analytical models to support automated reporting and insight generation that allow teams to quickly and accurately track their metrics to make data driven decisions
Experience in SQL, data modeling, developing data sets, automated pipelines (ETL), creating dashboards in Looker, Google Dashboards, Data Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Ability to partner with stakeholders across the business to understand their problems and evolving requirements, and work with a team to deliver practical and innovative solutions for real business benefits in a fast-paced environment.
Empirical understanding of data systems (BI analytics, data blending, data warehousing, data ETL, etc.) on process automation and standardization with experience in framing and presenting complex topics through clear frameworks, process diagrams, and data visualizations
A self-starter mentality that works with autonomy, has the ability to think independently while also operating in a collaborative environment.
A forward thinker who adapts quickly to evolving situations and requirements
Willingness and openness to learning new practices, platforms, and technologies, staying abreast of evolving trends.
Excellent oral, written, and listening skills with experience as a team lead and the ability to influence others without direct authority.
Ability to work on multiple projects and flexibility to change priorities when needed.
Experience working with data from the following systems is a plus: Costpoint, Workday, Salesforce, Snaplogic, DBT, Alteryx, etc.
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
