Position Overview

Operating as the right hand to the GM Commercial Line of Business, we are seeking a dynamic, strategic minded and data-driven individual to fill the role of Senior Program Manager, Commercial Business Performance. This person will work with partners across Finance and Integrated Operations to pull together and synthesize a 360 degree view of the Commercial & SLED business, collaborate with the LOB leadership team to identify the highest leverage growth and efficiency opportunities, build and manage the LOB budget and rhythm of the business, and hold cross-functional teams accountable to transformational OKRs. 

 

The successful candidate will have a strong background in business management and strategic change,  the ability to influence a varied set of cross-functional stakeholders, and be exceptional at simplifying and communicating complex plans and objectives. 

Responsibilities

  • Business Planning, Governance & Execution: drive overall accountability for the Commercial LoB planning and operating process. 
    • Work with product, finance and operations to pull together all of the data relevant to the LOB leadership team needs for decision making and performance tracking
    • Establish a robust governance framework for setting, driving, and measuring cross-functional OKRs related to the transformation of the Commercial business
    • Ensure the LOB is prepared to illustrate status of key performance measures and cross-functional OKRs at any point in time 
    • Build regular cadences for decision-making and progress reviews
    • Preparing the Commercial LoB for key business reviews including establishing the narrative and the key dependencies for success
    • Headcount planning, expense & budget planning, P&L forecasting 
  • Performance Analysis: Conduct in depth analysis of performance metrics, financial data and marketing trends to identify areas for improvement and inform decision 
  • Change Management: lead change management efforts that address the specific needs of each theater’s commercial and SLED businesses, ensuring that the most effective approaches are adopted to bring our Sales and Partners teams along.
  • Project Management: Oversee key projects and initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timeline and budgets. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: collaborate with department heads and teams across the organization to ensure alignment and integration of transformation efforts into all functional areas. Serve as a liaison between GM and org leaders fostering communication, alignment and collaboration to drive results. 
  • Communication: Lead the outcome-based internal communications strategy for the LOB, ensuring clarity, consistency, and audience relevance.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience leading field programs, influencing cross functional teams and deliverables
  • Track record of successful implementation of large scale global transformation initiatives with strong affinity for digital transformation, processes, change management & seller experience improvements
  • Strong demonstrated program management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to inspire teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences
  • Experience as a consultant working with high growth infrastructure vendors is a plus. 
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred

You will be based in Santa Clara, CA.  As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.

Pay Range

USD $120,000.00 - USD $159,000.00 /Yr.

Pay Transparency Statement

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
