Position Overview

Seeking an application support and maintenance specialist to join our global AMS support team. This role will involve support for ERP applications and functionality with a heavy focus on SAP. The person in this role will report to the AMS Manager with an internal stakeholder relationship with SAP architects and developers. The AMS team is responsible for supporting end users for our core business applications while working with development teams on break fixes/bugs, configuration changes, and system/job monitoring. The SAP team is responsible for the design, development and functionality of the SAP application.

Responsibilities

The core objectives of this position are:

  • Advocate for the end user by providing a delightful and efficient user experience through professional, proactive communication, regular updates, and timely resolution of issues.
  • A troubleshoot and analyze reported issues to resolution or escalation with root cause analysis. 
  • Proactively highlight and address trending issues or suggest necessary enhancements or configuration changes.
  • Adequately test solutions to ensure end user adoption and smooth release transition.
  • Develop and articulate solution options that incorporate user experience, scalability, security and best practices.
  • Communication with internal team members and stakeholders in other time zones for requirements clarification and progress reporting.
  • Perform in depth analysis to determine root cause if possible and work with developers on clarification of end user issues.

Additional objectives of this position are:

  • Works closely with stakeholders, process managers, and end users to understand the business processes used.
  • Focuses on Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, and Financial support and functionality within SAP.
  • Performs end user support for the functionality of SAP Applications.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to author and present materials ranging from detailed technical specifications to high-level presentations.
  • A drive to take ownership of reported issues and see them through to resolution.
  • Experience with a global support structure stretching over multiple time zones and cultural differences. 
  • Possess a love for problem solving using excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with an ability to learn quickly.
  • 3 + years of experience supporting 1 or more of the following:
    • Materials Management
    • Sales and Distribution
    • Financial Management - Asset Management module
  • Experience in S/4 HANA, CS/SM, and OTC.
  • Must have ability to perform configuration for SAP CS/SM and SD - equipment, Install Base and Asset experience.
  • Experience with SAP SD. is desired.
  • Experience configuring and delivering SAP solutions with Service Contracts; Warranties; Notifications; Repair Orders; Service Orders.
  • Cross functional experience within other areas of SAP is highly desired.
  • Experience with SAP end to end implementation is highly desired.
  • Experience working with integrations with third party systems desired.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
