Position Overview

The Role

We are seeking a progressive ER talent who comes from industries with large global footprints that have excellence in strategic but also productive and effective approaches to ER at scale. Pure’s Employee Relations Business Partner will provide oversight and solutions delivery for ER investigations, programs and performance improvement planning matters including: confidentiality, policy
interpretation and consistency, investigations and compliance, sensitive employment decisions, conflict resolution, and implementation of performance improvement plans regarding the whole lifecycle of performance management.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Design and conduct investigations and organizational assessments; recommend and develop
    appropriate remediation actions
  • Design, develop, and iterate scalable programs, processes, practices, tools, and templates to better enable coaching, improvement, issue resolution, and employment decisions
  • Drive programmatic improvements in closer alignment with Performance Management to inform manager of self service improvements
  • Assist in creating Performance Management best practice materials and provide manager coaching to facilitate best outcomes
  • Assist in creating and owning Performance Improvement Plans and provide manager guidance on best practices
  • Engage as a trusted adviser, partner, and subject matter expert to provide coaching to managers and employees on a variety of ER scenarios including performance development, performance improvement, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of company policy, culture and values, and local employment law practices to make recommendations that will help resolve complex and unique employment-related issues
  • Support necessary course of action between managers and employees to drive optimal outcomes
  • In partnership with functional managers, HRBPs, and Employment Counsel understand and mitigate risk through best practice strategies to ensure a positive and effective employee and experience
  • Leverage metrics and data to diagnose organizational effectiveness and common ER themes to develop the right education, training, and partnership to reduce the occurrence of common ER scenarios

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

  • 6+ years of experience in Employee Relations and Investigations, HRBP experience a plus
  • Experience building or developing a dedicated Employee Relations function and corresponding
    programs within an organization
  • Collaborative, motivated, self-starter willing to develop best practice strategies and approaches to
    Employee Relations and a high performing work culture
  • Ability to understand and interpret multiple sides of complex scenarios and involve necessary
    individuals at the appropriate time
  • Ability to lead, influence, and partner across key stakeholders to ensure the best outcome
  • Strong written documentation ability, and ability to leverage many sources of data
  • Ability to diagnose root cause through listening, inquiry, and further exploration
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management preferred - (International experience a
    plus)
  • Knowledge in Leave of Absence and Accommodations a plus

Pay Range

USD $100,000.00 - USD $151,000.00 /Yr.

Pay Transparency Statement

The annual base salary range is: $100,000-$151,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
